Make yourself comfortable, this will be very long post :-), as today I'm showing you all six shades from CND™ Garden Muse collection (Vinylux weekly polish -
press release post).
My first thought about them was that they were really perfect for Summer, with their sea/sky/flowers shades, now let's see them swatched, as usually two by two.
Mettetevi comode, oggi è il giorno del "postone" (farcito :-D).
Già al primo impatto gli smalti mi hanno dato una sensazione di "estate", son tutti colori intensi da cielo/mare/fiori. Vediamoli, come al solito, fotografati in coppia ;-)

I decided to start with the bright cremes, a slightly dusty rose (Crushed Rose) and an intense sky blue. Both are very pigmented (check picture of the first coat) and glossy also on their own.
For my swatches I applied two coats plus top coat, as they are supposed to be worn with final layer of special Vinylux "weekly" top coat.
Iniziamo con due laccati, un rosa malva leggermente polveroso (Crushed Rose) ed un azzurro intenso (Reflecting Pool): entrambi coprentissimi e lucidi (v. foto prima passata); per gli swatch ho comunque applicato due passate e anche una di lucido (visto che si dovrebbero usare con il top coat Vinylux apposito per l'effetto "settimanale").

Lost Labyrinth, a turquoise shimmer with a interesting purple hue (impossible to catch) and a slight semi-duochrome effect; application was good, but it has a pearly-metallic finish, so brush strokes remain slightly visible.
Wisteria Haze is a nice wisteria (not that hazy ^_^) creme .
Two coats plus top coat for both swatches.
Questi invece sono Lost Labyrinth, un turchese-verde con un intrigante shimmerino che a certe angolazioni vira al viola (praticamente impossibile da fotografare, si nota comunque il leggero cambio di tonalità dello smalto, anche se non lo definirei proprio un duochrome) e Wisteria Haze, un laccato glicine.
Due mani per entrambi, più top coat, anche in questo caso la stesura è stata agevole (lo shimmer ha un leggero effetto metalliz-perlato, con pennellate mediamente visibili).

Last two: Beckoning Begonia, a lilac pink with pretty gold-iridescent shimmer (or better micro flakes) and the "crazy" piece of this collection: Butterfly Queen, a magenta jelly base filled with purple and magenta glitter.
Also here I applied two coats plus top coat, as you can see Butterfly Queen is quite opaque also on its own.
Ultimi due: Beckoning Begonia, un rosa lilla con dei deliziosi shimmerini (micro flakes) dorato-iridescenti e Butterfly Queen, il pezzo più originale della collezione, composto da una base magenta jelly con glitterini viola e magenta.
Due passate e top coat per entrambi, come vedete il Butterfly Queen si può usare tranquillamente anche da solo.

Final thoughts: I really liked all these colors, I found them perfect for Summer and also easy to combine for simple nail arts (just "simple" because I'm not good at the difficult ones ^_^). Pictured here is a quick half moon I did with Beckoning Begonia and Butterfly Queen.
In conclusione: i colori di questa collezione mi sono piaciuti molto proprio per la loro forte connotazione estiva (li sto usando a turno anche le mie pedicure) e la possibilità di abbinarli per qualche semplice nail art (dico semplice perché io quelle difficili non le so fare ^_^) tipo questa half moon "al volo" con Beckoning Begonia e Butterfly Queen.

my previous ones), I'm going to try one of them during my next seaside vacations (in a couple weeks). I still haven't decided which one to choose, please help me voting for your favorite on (poll on top-right side bar).

Per quanto riguarda il test della durata settimanale (qui le prove Vinylux precedenti), niente di meglio che farlo durante le ferie...Visto che partirò tra qualche settimana e devo ancora scegliere quale smalto provare, volete segnalarmi quello che preferireste vedere?
