Between press releases...Here is a quick post about my first textured polish: Kiko Sugar Mat 642 (named "Fucsia" in Italian, "Hot pink" in English). It was among my favorites since I first skittled some of them (it belongs to the pearly mats, the ones with small glittery parts).
642 is quite opaque after the first coat (picture without bottle), but I decided to apply a second one to obtain a deeper color.
I really liked this shade, it's so bright and summery! I know that not everybody likes the textured polishes, anyway (BTW each brand actually makes its own "rough" version, check the amazing series of "textured" from KarenD).
Last but not least, this Kiko textured worked perfectly as a base for stamping...I tried just for fun (after I saw a pretty picture on Wacky Laki blog) and ended up loving my mani. Unfortunately it was 11 p.m. and I just managed to snap a few - very yellow - pics with my smartphone (at the bottom of the post), but I will definitely try the textured stamping again.

Infilato in mezzo alle cartelle stampa, ecco un veloce post su uno dei tre "materici" (mi fa impressione chiamarli così, ma se lo scrivono sul sito della Kiko...) che ho comprato.
Acquisto -approfittando delle offerte- meditato, questo era uno dei miei preferiti già dalle prime prova-skittle :)
Il 642 fa parte dei "pearly" (quelli con le particelle glitterose), come vedete lo smalto è coprente già dalla prima mano (foto senza boccetta), per avere comunque un colore più intenso ne ho stese due.
Secondo me è un colore bellissimo e super estivo, poi l'effetto sabbia può piacere o meno...E ogni marchio ha un suo modo di farlo, ne sa qualcosa KarenD che ha fatto una lunga serie di post su questi textured (vabbè che la maggior parte di questi noi in Italia li vedremo col binocolo).
Una cosa che mi ha stupito di questi smalti è che si possono usare tranquillamente come base per lo stamping, anzi l'effetto è molto particolare. Non è una mia scoperta, ho visto un post carinissimo da Wacky Laki e ho deciso di provare "tanto per...": il risultato mi è piaciuto tantissimo, scusate la foto super gialla scattata alle undici di sera con il cellulare.
