NOTD: Sinful Colors 931 See You Soon

After trying this polish I felt reconciled with Sinful Colors (last Spring they so disappointed me with this shade): on nails See You Soon is just as in bottle, a nice dark blue-green with tons of blue shimmer. It's a little bit liquid but not runny, application is nice and it gets opaque in two coats.

Dopo aver provato questo smalto (trovato scontato a 3,9€ da Coin) mi sono rappacificata con la Sinful Colors (ce l'avevo ancora con loro per questo): See You Soon sulle unghie è proprio come nella bottiglia, un blu petrolio con tantissimi shimmer blu. La consistenza è leggermente liquida, ma si stende bene ed è coprente in due mani. Niente di eccezionale, ma fa onestamente il suo dovere!

Finally I found some time to update my blog (just because I've been on holiday  for a couple days), so I'm working on my backlog; BTW I hope you had a happy Christmas time!!
Back to the polish: unfortunately this one has been really disappointing, so pretty in the bottle (lilac/pink with green hues - maybe my expectations were too high) bit IRL it was:
- too sheer (it took four coats to obtain the pictured result) and frost
- with visible brush strokes
- duochrome is barely visible (could you say it's a duochrome, unless watching the bottle?).
I will use it for my frankens :-(

  Finalmente riesco a ritagliarmi un po' di tempo per il blog (giusto perché sono stata in ferie questi ultimi quattro giorni), a proposito, spero abbiate passato un buon Natale :-)

Putroppo questo smalto è stato una delusione, bellissimo nella boccetta (lilla/rosa con riflessi verdi - forse le mie aspettative erano troppo elevate) ma:

- super trasparente (ci sono volute quattro mani per il risultato fotografato) e perlato

- i segni del pennello restano evidenti, una volta asciutto
- l'effetto duochrome è veramente poco evidente
Lo userò per i miei frankenpolish :-(

Città Fiera Haul: more Kiko, Essence and Sinful Colors

Yesterday I went to a mall with my best friend...I did not want to buy more polishes but...As she was late and I just this once was on time, I spent some time all alone in the Kiko shop while waiting for her. This is the result:

Ieri sono andata al Città Fiera (centro commerciale vicino a Udine) con la mia migliore amica, non avevo intenzione di comprare (smalti) ma mentre la aspettavo (di solito siamo entrambe in ritardo, stavolta stranamente ero puntuale) ho fatto un giretto da Kiko ed ecco qua:

Then we had a coffee and went shopping...Later we passed in front of OVS and I asked her to drop in just to check if they had Essence polishes (I went there several times in the past but they never had them) and  YAY! The brand new display rack was there! I was so thrilled!!! And I bought these:

Poi caffè e inizio shopping...Quando siam passate di fronte all'OVS le ho chiesto di fare un salto solo per vedere se per caso avessero gli Essence (ci ero passata varie volte ma niente) e sorpresa!! C'era l'espositore nuovo pieno pieno di smalti!! Ero al settimo cielo...E mi sono presa questi:

Last but not least, as Flavia wrote about Coin now selling Sinful Colors we went also there and found them!! I bought this one:
Infine, visto che Flavia ha scoperto i Sinful Colors al Coin, siamo andate anche là e li ho trovati!! Ho preso questo:

#815 Let me go - a holo or a duochrome? Seems great (and the bottle I took was the last one).
Quite a day!! And we have been able to buy a couple of t-shirts, too ;-)
