For my O I decided to pick a couple of polishes I bought by mistake. Explanation: last Spring I went to London for a romantic ;-) weekend with my husband and obviously I tried to do as much polish shopping as I could. So the first day I bought a couple BeautyUK polishes from their Posh Polish Gemstone collection (Amethyst and Sunstone) and tried them quickly in the evening: they were so pretty that I decided to buy a couple more.
Unfortunately my husband was not as excited as I was about polish shopping, so he started to rush me every time I stepped into the umpteenth a Superdrug or Boots. During a hasty tour of a shop I found the BeautyUK display I was looking for and without checking the polishes I grabbed the shades that I thought I was missing (skipping the silver).
I realized I made a mistake just when I came home (Italy): the polishes in the display were mixed and I bought a couple of the Olympic ones. Doh!!
BTW the Olympics are now ended but these polishes remain available in the three pieces Foil collection. Actually I'm a little bit confused, to me they look more chrome than foil. What do you think?

Di nuovo lunedì, le settimane si susseguono senza che io riesca a capire bene cosa sto facendo :-/ aaargh!
Come sempre sono leggermente :-D in ritardo, mentre inizio a scrivere la bozza (h 15:34) ci sono già 10 O-post pubblicati (guardate sotto)!
Per oggi ho deciso di pubblicare non uno ma due smalti, frutto di un acquisto frettoloso fatto a Londra: quasi appena arrivata mi ero infatti fiondata in un Superdrug e avevo comprato un paio di smaltini carinissimi della BeautyUK (Amethyst e Sunstone della Gemstone Collection).
La sera li avevo provati e visto che erano dei bei foil colorati avevo deciso di comprarne ancora qualcuno.
Dovete sapere che però l'Ing. non era molto felice di vedermi entrare in ogni negozio vagamente smaltoso che incontravamo, per cui ad un certo punto ha iniziato a mettermi fretta e così in uno dei miei giri da "solo 5 minuti giuroooo" ho trovato questo espositore e arraffato al volo (senza guardare proprio) i due colori diversi da quelli che avevo, saltando l'argento.
Mi sono accorta della cavolata solo quando sono tornata a casa ?_?: i due appartenevano ad un'altra collezione, legata alle olimpiadi, per cui ecco qui Olympic Gold e Olympic Bronze.
A proposito, finite le olimpiadi gli smalti son rimasti nella mini collezione Foil...Ma secondo me come finish sono più cromato che foil, cosa dite?
Posh Polish n. 1 Olympic Gold
I'm glad this one is not a common gold polish, but a cool toned gold chrome instead. It's quite pigmented, here the result after two coats (three on my index, because I messed it). Brush strokes are not too visible, especially in the shade. It could be a pretty stamping polish.
Per fortuna non è un oro normale, piuttosto un cromato con una tonalità particolarmente fredda. E' abbastanza coprente, nelle foto vedete il risultato di due mani (tre sull'indice che avevo pasticciato); i segni delle pennellate non sono particolarmente evidenti.
Potrebbe essere interessante come smalto da stamping.
Posh Polish n. 3 Olympic Bronze
A metallic bronze/copper polish, less chrome-y than the gold one. Opaque in two coats, any mistakes in application remain quite visible in the shade (I think those on my index nail are due to something in the base coat). Without praise or blame.
Anche questo un metallico, di una tonalità bronzo ramata, meno cromato dell'altro. E' coprente in due mani, soprattutto all'ombra sono visibili le eventuali imperfezioni nell'applicazione (credo che quelle sull'indice siano dovute alla base).
Senza infamia e senza lode.
