After a while (my internet connection was out-of-order O_o) I'm back on the blog, with a rich (and picture heavy) post about four Labo Led polishes!
Labo Cosprophar Suisse is a Swiss brand (I think that their most famous product is Crescina) and their products are made in Swiss or Italy (where they established the sales branch Labo International). The polishes I tried are all "made in Italy" and 3-free.
The "Labo Led" products are really special, as they have a built-in led light that you can switch on pressing on the cap; the effect is similar to a mini spotlight on nails!
Finalmente (dopo una pausa forzata dovuta a problemi con la connessione) rieccomi qui, con un corposo post dedicato a quattro smalti Labo Led.
Labo, o meglio Labo Cosprophar Suisse, è un marchio svizzero (quello della Crescina, che probabilmente avrete sentito nominare). La produzione avviene in Svizzera e in Italia, dove è operativa la filiale Labo International; gli smalti che ho provato ad esempio erano tutti "made in Italy" e 3-Free, cioè senza formaldeide, toluene e DBP.
La particolarità di questi prodotti della linea "Led" è di essere dotati di una lucina led incorporata nel tappo (negli smalti l'"interruttore" si trova sulla sommità del tappo, se avete le unghie lunghe consiglio di premerlo con una penna o simile), devo dire che illumina bene proprio dove serve:

On Labo website you can find
all the available colors (18, from work safe to neon shades...), here are the ones I tried:
Labo Led 18 Ametista
Ametista = amethyst. An almost-neon magenta, here the result after two easy coats. Once dry it's quite shiny, but not completely glossy.
In the fourth picture the with/without top coat comparison; I think it looks better with tc.
Note: on the Italian label there's a warning "use preferably on artificial nails"; often brands write this on neon-fluo shades, I think because of the staining pigments used. I applied a thick base coat (as I always do when swatching) and I had no staining issues ;-)
Un magenta quasi neon, qui lo vedete dopo due facili passate. Una volta asciutto resta abbastanza lucido, anche se non a specchio.
Nell'ultima foto la prova con-senza top coat (personalmente lo preferisco "con").
Sull'etichetta è riportato l'avvertimento "preferibilmente per unghie artificiali", spesso lo scrivono sugli smalti neon (immagino per via dei pigmenti particolari utilizzati). Io ho applicato una bella passata di base, come faccio sempre, e non ho avuto problemi di macchie ;-)
Labo Led 08 Damsonite
I had no idea of what damsonite was: Google showed me a nice lilac stone (a quartz variety), but the polish is a rich purple, creamy and opaque in two coats.
I found it was a perfect match for one of my favorite tees <3
Onestamente non avevo idea di come fosse la damsonite: Google me la rappresenta come una bella pietra lilla (è una varietà di quarzo), comunque lo smalto è un ricco viola-porpora, coprente in due passate e lucido.
Qui sotto lo vedete in azione, si abbinava perfettamente a una delle mie maglie preferite <3
Labo Led 04 Quarzo Grigio
Quarzo grigio = Grey quartz. A medium grey, here you can see the result after two thick coats. It will be a perfect base for nail arts and decals!
Un grigio medio laccato, qui il risultato dopo due passate dense. Ottima base per nail art e decals!
Labo Led 17 Zaffiro
Zaffiro = Sapphire! A gorgeous cobalt blue, with a more "crelly" finish (I know someone hates this term, that should express something in the middle between creme and jelly :-P). After the first coat I was quite worried, as there were streaks on every nail, but as you can see after the second coat everything settled. I really loved it!
Bello lui! Un blu cobalto dal finish più tendente al jelly che al laccato puro. Dopo la prima mano le unghie erano abbastanza strisciate, ma come vedete con la seconda si è sistemato tutto.
Mi è piaciuto tantissimo, lo trovo -anche grazie al finish- perfetto per l'estate!
