This post has been sitting in my Drafts for such a long time (last August), then today I read this post from Gnoma (Polishically Uncorrect), reviewing another polish from this collection and I decided it's time to click on "post" button.
This time Italian brand Astra disappointed me a little bit: when they launched their new collection, with redesigned displays, new bottle shapes – with removable cap, à la Chanel – and bold, bright colors (at just 2,50€), I was really happy and bought immediately a green polish.
Maybe I chose the wrong shade, because this light green with golden shimmer is really sheer and it took three very thick coats to have a good coverage, not to mention brush strokes that remain visible once dry. Decent polish but I was expecting something better. Maybe next time, Astra!

Avrei voluto intitolare il post "una piccola delusione italiana": questo è uno dei nuovi Astra (i display nuovi si sono visti un po' dappertutto questa estate – tanti colori, anche inusuali come giallo e verde, costo 2,5€).
Forse ho scelto male io il colore, fatto sta che una volta applicato questo verde chiaro con shimmer dorati si rivela molto trasparente, e sono state necessarie tre mani di quelle densissime per il risultato fotografato; sorvoliamo sui segni delle pennellate che restano visibili una volta asciutto.

Decente, ma nulla più. Peccato, mi piaceva il nuovo packaging (con il tappo quadrato che si sfila, a mo' di Chanel). Sarà per la prossima volta (se dovessi comprarne ancora uno)?
