Maybe the polish I picked to represent July's birthstone (ruby) is not the perfect one in terms of shade...But when I tried it (thanks to my best friends, that let me keep it for a very long time) I've been impressed by its preciousness, and I decided that I had to use it for a special post, like this one.
I'm talking about Chanel Malice, released in 2012 (Holiday collection: Eclats du Soir): a gorgeous dark red with ruby (I'm not 100% OT) shimmer. Very pigmented (two coats in my pictures, but you can see it looked good also after the first one) and really easy to apply.
Malice (or mAlice :-P) dries very glossy and is really an eye-catcher!
The only flaw I have to mention is that on me it didn't last long: the following day my tips already faded (despite the tip wrap).

Forse lo smalto che ho scelto per questa puntata della Birthstone non è proprio il più adatto a rappresentare il rubino, ma quando l'ho provato sono rimasta affascinata dalla sua preziosità...E ho pensato di doverlo mostrare in un'occasone speciale come questa.
Lo smalto protagonista di oggi è nientemeno che Malice di Chanel, della collezione Eclats du Soir (Natale 2012); per l'ennesima volta ringrazio le mie due amiche Chanel-iste per avermelo prestato (e per avermelo lasciato tanto a lungo)!
Malice (o mAlice :-P) è un rosso scuro pieno zeppo di shimmer color rubino (almeno questo a tema!), dalla pigmentazione ottima (coprente già dalla prima passata, applicate due per lo swatch) e che si stende meravigliosamente.
Resta molto lucido anche da asciutto ed è davvero un colore attira-complimenti!
Unico neo (su di me): la durata, le punte il giorno dopo erano già sbiadite.
