NOTD: Rescue Beauty Lounge Più Mosso (picture heavy)

If I'm able to show you a Rescue Beauty Lounge polish today, it's just because of KarenD's kindness: I love to read her blog Frazzle and Aniploish, she has an incredible number of polishes (and therefore countless wheels) and makes us EU girls dream about teleporting to US for a polish shopping session when she shows pictures of all incredible displays she finds in stores.

So what happened? She had a backup Più Mosso bottle (from RBL L'Oiseau de Feu collection, all four with Italian names, related to musical terminology :-)) and decided to arrange a surprise giveaway, drawing a name among all comments left on her swatch of this polish. How generous of her!!

Obviously I left a comment on that post, as I love dark polishes with a twist so imagine my crazy happiness when I received Karen's mail announcing Random.org picked just me!

I was really eager to try it, also because I know RBL is a high end brand in the US and made some polishes that are almost legendary (I'm sure you have at least one in your mind).

Once I had it in my hands I couldn't stop staring at the bottle, the polish is dark blue but rotate the bottle a little bit and bam! Thousands of copper/red shimmers make surface look almost bronze.

The polish has a good pigmentation (see picture of first coat) and it's perfect in two smooth coats, moreover when I removed it, a couple days later, my nails weren't stained at all.

Check the pictures, I think this polish is really a jewel, and it will have a special place in my collection.

Se oggi vedete qui un Rescue Beauty Lounge (RBL per gli amici) è solo grazie alla generosità di KarenD, proprio lei di Frazzle and Aniploish, che ci delizia con le sue millemila ruote (ha ben quattro Helmer a casa) e con le foto tutti i display che trova in giro nei negozi (cosa che mi fa anche desiderare, una volta di più, di potermi teletrasportare – con un trolley da riempire - in America).

Insomma che ha fatto Karen? Si è trovata con una boccetta in più e generosamente ha organizzato un giveaway a sorpresa, scegliendo un commento a caso tra quelli postati proprio sul suo swatch di questo smalto, nella fattispecie Più Mosso della collezione L'Oiseau de Feu (tutti nomi italiani collegati alla terminologia musicale). Così ho vinto senza nemmeno sapere di aver partecipato (ovviamente non avevo potuto non commentare questo gioiellino :-)) e sono stata super mega stra felice di riceverlo.

Ero molto curiosa di vedere come fosse, considerando che questa marca si colloca ad un livello medio alto in America (una boccetta costa 18USD, che qua da noi non voglio pensare cosa potrebbero diventare).

E' “semplicemente” un blu scuro (di Prussia) con tantissimi shimmer riflettenti rame/rosso, dall'effetto pazzesco: inclinando la boccetta si vede alternativamente una superficie completamente blu oppure bronzo/ramata.

E' ben pigmentato (ho fatto una foto della prima mano) e si applica benissimo, per le foto ho fatto due passate. Una volta swatchato l'ho tenuto su un paio di giorni e una volta tolto le unghie non sono nemmeno rimaste macchiate.

Insomma stupendo, un vero gioiello che occuperà un posto speciale nella mia collezione.
