I've been doing a lot of swatches lately (it's great to finally have long daylight hours and sunny days), but then I can't find the time to edit pictures and write posts...
Today the weather was quite cloudy, so I sit in front of my PC, determined to prepare a couple of posts...Or at least one :-P
I decided to start with a polish from a very interesting indie brand I discovered thanks to my friend
Stregalice: Polish Alcoholic. These polishes are hand blended by Sabrina (on
Instagram she often swatches also other indie brands) and 5-free; you can find them in her
Etsy store (she's located in The Netherlands).
This one is named Dungeons & Dragons and it belongs to the Winter Collection released last January (six shades inspired by "Stranger Things").
The polish is gorgeous: the base color is a sort of sage-pine green, quite sheer (on the website she defines it as "Is it green? Is it blue? It's in between with a slight grey undertone") and filled with holo particles and golden/pink microflakes (again, according to the website "this polish is packed with the so called Unicorn pigment (not to be confused with Unicorn Pee!").
The overall effect is amazing, I couldn't stop staring at the bottle under sunlight and had to post a
short video on Instagram. Mesmerizing!
The polish is easy to apply and quite sheer (probably to let the flakes spark through), as you can see on my "first coat" picture; for these swatches I applied three coats (consider that I have quite wide/long nails).
And now let's see the pictures, I took tons of them...I hope you like this polish as much as I do!

Oggi invece qui il tempo non è stato splendido, per cui mi sono seduta al pc con impegno :-P, sperando di riuscire a preparare almeno un paio di post.
Intanto uno, per iniziare alla grande il mese di maggio: uno smalto di un marchio indie che ho scoperto di recente grazie alla mia smaltamica Stregalice :-*.
Si tratta di Polish Alcoholic: gli smalti sono creati artigianalmente da Sabrina, una ragazza olandese gentilissima, presente su Instagram anche come "swatcher" di altri marchi indie, e sono tutti 5-free (li trovate sul suo negozio Etsy).
Questo di oggi appartiene alla collezione invernale uscita lo scorso gennaio e composta da sei colori a tema "Stranger Things": si tratta di Dungeons & Dragons ed è uno smalto veramente bellissimo e particolare.
Partiamo dal colore di base, un verde salvia/bosco (lei lo definisce "tra il verde e il blu, con un leggero sottotono grigio") abbastanza leggero, arricchito da particelle holo sottilissime e da microflakes rosa e dorati.
L'effetto è stupendo, sia in boccetta (ho fatto un mini video, non riuscivo a smettere di guardare come cambiava il colore in boccetta) sia sulle unghie, dove a seconda dell'angolazione cambia il riflesso rosa/dorato sulla base.
Lo smalto è facile da stendere e non coprentissimo (vedere foto prima passata), probabilmente per non "spegnere" i flakes. Sulle mie unghie (larghe e abbastanza lunghe) tre passate per questi swatch.
Largo alle foto, ne ho fatte tantissime...Spero lo smalto vi piaccia quanto è piaciuto a me!
