Today's franken came out just by accident: one evening I was talking with my kids about primary colors and I decide
to show them a “real time” mix, so I took a red and a blue polish
(both very cheap
[b] Basics: Lava Ardiente and mini n. 22) I had on the shelf and mixed a drop of each on a plastic sheet. The
result was obviously purple, but it seemed a really interesting color
to me, as shimmers of both polishes (red and blue) remained quite distinct; obviously the day after I mixed them into this franken.
To stick on my “frankens named after deadly sins” weird
plan I decided to match this color with wrath, because I think that it
can express well the different stages of anger: red for the moment
when you get angry for something or with someone and your head
literally goes on fire (I'm a sort of hot tempered person) and blue for the
following period, when you calm down...And if necessary start planning your
revenge :-P)!
Even if it took some time for the
polishes to blend (I let the bottle sit for a couple days, shaking it
from time to time) the final resul was quite pretty and opaque in two
coats; I love the bi-color shimmer, even if
they are not that visible on nails.

Questo franken è nato una sera,
praticamente per caso: stavo parlando con i miei bambini di colori
primari e per fare la mamma “creativa” ho pensato di fargli
vedere cosa succedeva mescolando rosso e blu. Ovviamente cos'avevo sotto mano? Smalti! Ho preso un rosso e un blu (due [b] Basic super economici: il rosso Lava Ardiente ed il blu n. 22) che erano sul ripiano e ne ho mescolata una goccia ciascuno su un
pezzo di plastica. Ne è uscito un viola (ma va!) davvero
interessante, visto che gli shimmer blu e rossi restavano abbastanza evidenti nel colore di base, così il giorno dopo ne ho fatta una boccetta.
Per continuare il mio progetto: uno
smalto-un vizio :-) ho deciso di abbinare questo colore all'ira. So
che il rosso è l'abbinamento usuale, ma ho pensato che dopo la fase
“di fuoco” della rabbia (quella che di solito mi travolge,
diciamo che sono un "fiammifero", ma è colpa di Marte in
Ariete :-P) segue quella in cui ci si raffredda (blu)...Ed eventualmente
si inizia a pianificare la vendetta!
Anche se gli smalti ci hanno messo un
bel po' ad amalgamarsi (ho lasciato la boccetta ferma per parecchi
giorni, dandole una girata/agitata ogni tanto) il risultato finale di questo franken super facile e coprente in due mani mi è piaciuto
parecchio, anche se gli shimmer bicolori forse non si notano abbastanza, sulle unghie.
