Essence discontinued products Spring 2016 - saldi primavera 2016 (nails - unghie)

A very quick post about the Essence "Ex-Artikelliste ab Februar 2016", concerning the products that are now leaving the displays and the permanent lines (they are already on sale here in Italy).

Checking the nail polish and nail care section I noticed that turnover of products is so fast...Some lines will completely disappear (Effect Nail Polish for instance) and I found out Essence is discontinuing even my beloved satin top coat (shown here) and the "ombre effect" one (still in my untrieds *ahem*).

Here below you can find the Italian list (products may slightly vary according to country - click on pics to enlarge them a little bit). Do you plan on buying any backups or things you missed before?

Post al volo: scartabellando il sito Essence qualche giorno fa ho trovato la pagina Arrivederci dedicata ai prodotti che "tra poco non saranno più in assortimento e lasceranno posto a tantissime novità davvero trendy." 

Dando un'occhiata all'elenco smalti e nail care ho notato che la velocità con cui prodotti e perfino linee intere arrivano e se ne vanno dagli scaffali è davvero vertiginosa: spariscono tutti i vari I love Dark, spariscono i restanti Effect Nail Polish, sparisce il top coat satinato (scandalosooo - io lo adoro e ne ho parlato qui) e anche quello effetto sfumato che ho ancora negli untrieds *ehm*.

Oggi pomeriggio (il post era ancora nelle bozze) sono passata all'Ovs e tadaaa...Ho trovato i prodotti già con il cartellino giallo nell'espositore. Non so a quanto siano stati messi in vendita la scorsa volta, comunque ora il prezzo scontato è di 1,29€.
Qui sotto vi riporto l'elenco di coloro che ci lasciano (come trovato sul sito Essence - cliccare sulle foto per ingrandirle un po'), avete in mente di recuperarne qualcuno prima che sia troppo tardi?

Swatch: Essence I love Trends The Darks - 18 Happy New Green

Pekaboo! I'm finally back...Happy and tired, but willing to get back on track here on the blog.

I'm feeling a little bit rusty, so before dealing with a very big post, I'll start again with something simple ;-)

This is a polish released from Essence a couple months ago, part of their "I love TRENDS - The Darks" collection: n. 18 Happy New Green.

It's a very dark (with a pinch of grey) green, quite pigmented (but I applied two coats), with a satin finish.

Cucù! Faccio capolino dopo un'assenza più lunga del previsto (la mia naturale tendenza alla procrastinazione ha contribuito ad allungare i tempi). Sono finalmente fuori dal tunnel!!! Giusto in tempo per iniziare a sclerare con le festività natalizie :-P.

La pausa blog mi ha lasciato un po' arrugginita, riprenderò con una cosetta semplice, prima di cimentarmi con un mega post :-D...L'importante è ripartire!

Questo è Happy New Green, uno degli smalti Essence usciti qualche mese fa con la serie "I love TRENDS - The Darks": è un verde (con una punta di grigio) molto scuro, che una volta asciutto diventa satinato. Lo smalto è pigmentato, ma io comunque ho dovuto dare due passate.

Obviously I had to try it also with top coat, unfortunately the one I picked was quite runny and after a while it got "absorbed" (hence the not-so-glossy surface), the shimmer came out pretty nicely, anyway.

Ovviamente l'ho provato anche in versione lucida, ma il top coat non era particolarmente "corposo" e così dopo poco la superficie si è ri-opacizzata. Lo shimmer comunque non era niente male.
