NOTD: [b] Basic LE Juicy Fruity - Banana

It seems that our unusually long summer is ending, at last. As I love hot and sunny weather  I'm somehow sad, so to cheer up a little bit I'll post something very summery this morning.

I usually skip yellow polishes, not that I don't like the color “per se”, it's just that I think it's not that flattering on my hands; after finding out this I actually like yellow polish a little bit more, anyway.

Anyway my LE obsession made me overcome this dislike and hunt for the third [b] Basic polish of their Juicy Fruity Le: Banana.

It's pastel yellow creme with a good density and gets opaque in two or three coats (depending on luck); I applied two coats on my pinkie and another finger (that I can't recall), three on others. Nice color, also as base for a konadicure (check below)!

Qui il sole ci sta abbandonando (era durato anche troppo, per gli standard autunnali del Friuli Venezia Giulia) e per non incupirmi pubblico un post che più solare non si può!

Di solito ignoro tranquillamente gli smalti gialli, non che il colore di per sé non mi piaccia (oddio, non è neanche tra i miei preferiti, anche se dopo aver scoperto questo l'ho rivalutato) ma secondo me mi sta abbastanza male, non so se per il sottotono giallo-olive della mia pelle o per il fatto che sia molto chiara.

Però sapete che ho un debole per le LE [b] Basic e quindi sono andata a cercare in giro anche il terzo smaltino “Juicy Fruity” finché non ho trovato una preziosa “ultima bottiglietta”!

Come consistenza non è male, stendendo degli strati densi e avendo fortuna ne bastano due/tre (nelle mie foto vedete due mani sul mignolo e su un altro dito che non ricordo); il colore è un giallo pastello.
Comunque carino, io l'ho usato anche come base per una konadicure , riportata in fondo.

Here is the second polish from Juicy Fruity LE (pastel green here): I didn't like this bright creme color very much because it really clashed on my skintone, but I must say that it took only two thick (very thick) coats to achieve this opaque result. Considering the kind of color I think it's quite a good "performance". 

BTW now that I have longer nails (and I love them) these old swatches seem quite odd to me, as they belong to someone else's hands [^_^ Ok, I think I need some vacation]!

Shade - Luce indiretta

Velocissimo post sul secondo smaltino della collezione limitata Juicy Fruity della [b] Basic (vi avevo mostrato già il verde). Questo celeste ha una tonalità molto vivace (o perlomeno faceva parecchio contrasto con la mia carnagione) quindi non mi è piaciuto più di tanto, però sono sufficienti due mani belle dense per essere coprente. Considerando il tipo di colore (creme) direi quindi che è un buon risultato. A proposito, ora che ho le unghie più lunghe (e spero di riuscire a mantenerle così) questi swatch(es) di qualche tempo fa mi sembrano proprio strani (come se fossero le mani di qualcun altro...Ok  ^_^  ho bisogno di ferie)!

I bought this mini polish yesterday, even if I know this color would have looked awful on my skintone, just because it was part of a Limited Edition (Juicy Fruity - and finally they gave each polish a name) and that light green (with a warm hue) bottle was so cute (and for just 0,99€)!

I expected it to apply badly (light pastels are not the easiest polishes to work with) but actually it took me just two thick (very thick) coats to have a perfect coverage, and once dry it was also quite glossy (no top coat in my pics). Unfortunately the other polishes of this collection were already missing (see display), the salesgirl told me they were pastels, too: light blue and yellow.

Today I "accidentally" peeked in some Schlecker shops on my way home and in the third one I (finally) found at least the light blue :-)
Damn, I can't resist these Limited Editions!

Shade - Luce indiretta

Comprato ieri, anche se è un colore non particolarmente adatto a me, praticamente solo perché era una Limited Edition (Juicy Fruity - finalmente hanno deciso di dare dei nomi anche ai singoli smalti) e mi piaceva tanto quella bottiglietta verdina (con sottotono caldo)!
Mi aspettavo una stesura difficoltosa (i pastelli così chiari in genere strisciano molto) invece l'applicazione è stata molto buona, quello che vedete nelle foto sono due mani molto dense. Lo smalto tollera anche un paio di pennellate sullo stesso punto senza strisciarsi e una volta asciutto resta pure lucido!
La LE comprendeva (è uscita da un bel po', come vedete il display era stato già spazzolato) anche altri due colori pastello: giallo ed azzurro (a 0,99 € l'uno). Oggi ho mi sono fermata "casualmente" :-P a curiosare in altri tre negozi Schlecker: in tutti era rimasto il verde e solo nell'ultimo ho trovato  l'azzurro, che ovviamente ho comprato (anche se è un colore di smalto che di solito non metto) :-) 
Che fare, ho un debole per le LE!
